Every patient receives a comprehensive physical examination by our veterinarian on the day of surgery. We also review any available prior medical records to help identify risk factors, tailor anesthetic protocols, and ensure continuity of care.
Throughout the procedure and recovery, we use multi-parameter monitoring equipment to track your pet's vital signs ensuring early detection and rapid intervention when needed. Our monitoring includes ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
Each patient is assigned a dedicated, trained anesthetist who remains with them from induction through recovery. This ensures constant supervision, personalized anesthetic adjustments, and rapid response to any changes in your pet's status.
Pain relief is never optional. We develop an individualized pain management plan for each patient, incorporating pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative medications to ensure comfort every step of the way. We utilize local blocks, opioids, and adjunct therapies as needed.
Intravenous fluid support is provided when appropriate to maintain hydration, support blood pressure, and aid in anesthetic safety and recovery.
We follow current surgical guidelines for antibiotic use, providing pre and post-operative antibiotics when medically warranted, while avoiding unnecessary medications.
Maintaining optimal body temperature is essential for safe anesthesia and smooth recovery. We provide active warming using forced-air warming systems, warm IV fluids, and warm water thermal support before, during, and after surgery.
Our patients recover in species-specific wards designed to minimize stress. Cats and dogs are housed separately, with gentle handling, soft bedding, and personalized attention from our team.
You'll receive detailed medical records and personalized home care instructions to help you feel confident in supporting your pet's recovery.
Post-operative rechecks are always included. Our team is here to support you and your pet through the healing process with attentive follow-up and guidance.
From intake to discharge, every patient is treated with skill, compassion, and vigilance. We are proud to offer surgical care that reflects both excellence and empathy.
