"We are here to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their owners – to provide a sustainable and essential alternative to the high cost of surgery and dental work. We’re rescuing pets from economic euthanasia and keeping them in homes where they belong." – Dr. Kristin Engel
Dr. Kristin is a graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Northwest Iowa on a small hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals. Dr. Kristin resides in Omaha with her husband and two daughters. Emily, a golden retriever rounds things out with her endless energy and love.
Krista graduated the Veterinary Technician program from Iowa Western in 2014. Ever since she was little she has always had a strong love for animals and knew the veterinary world was for her. She has experience with all kinds of animals ranging from avian, pocket pets, and of course cats and dogs. She has a crew of 3 Pitbull Terrier dogs; Roscoe, Lucy, and Kai. When she's not working, she loves being outside, kayaking or camping, and running her dogs.
Emilie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014. After spending time as a zookeeper, she could no longer deny the pull she felt towards the veterinary world! Emilie has a 4 year old Chihuahua-Dachshund named Fester, a polydactyl cat named Thumby and a Holland Lop named Babs. After she's finished taking care of her small "farm" at home, Emilie also loves to read, laugh and enjoy good wine!
