Essential Responsibilities & Functions

Confidence and skills necessary to tackle a variety of soft tissue surgeries including HVHQ spay and neuter techniques.

Knowledge of interpreting dental radiographs and expertise in extracting multi-rooted teeth and performing gingival flap closures.

Commitment to providing compassionate pre-and post-operative care, monitoring patients closely to ensure their comfort and safety.

Enthusiasm about building relationships with referring veterinarians within the Greater Omaha community.

Desire and talent to champion the practice’s mission, values, goals as well as inspire others.

Embrace the established and innovative policies and procedures of Good Sam’s Surgical Program based on published guidelines of AAHA, AAFP, RAVS, VASG, and ASPCA-Pro.

Efficiently handle large caseloads and maintain accurate records and high standard of care.

Promote a collaborative working environment, encourage and participate in healthy team dynamics, conflict resolution, and the ability to give and receive feedback.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

Nebraska State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
